Who doesn’t love a Christmas movie? We certainly do and we’ve made it our business to watch as many of them as possible!

Here’s our breakdown of some of the best out there, for you to choose from.

The Classic Christmas Film

How the Grinch Stole Christmas – The reclusive green Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville by sneaking into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos.

Elf – Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father.

Home Alone – After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home.

The Family Friendly Christmas Film

Arthur Christmas – Santa misses one child out of hundreds of millions, someone has to save the day. It’s up to Arthur, Santa’s youngest son, to deliver a present to the forgotten tyke before Christmas morning dawns.

Klaus – After proving himself to be the worst student at the academy, a postman is sent to a frozen town in the North where he discovers a reclusive toymaker named Klaus.

Jack Frost – A year after Jack’s tragic death in a car accident on Christmas Day, Charlie plays a mournful tune on his father’s harmonica. Much to his surprise, the elder Frost is magically brought to life as a snowman on the family lawn.

The Santa Claus – After he accidentally kills a man in a Santa suit, they are magically transported to the North Pole, where an elf explains that Scott must take Santa’s place before the next Christmas arrives.

The Christmas Chronicles – Siblings Kate and Teddy Pierce hatch a scheme to capture Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.

The So-Bad-Its-Good Christmas Film

Christmas Land – After inheriting a Christmas tree farm, a woman’s plans to sell it change when she falls in love with the townspeople and meets a charming lawyer named Tucker.

Christmas Cookies – A corporate agent is sent to a small town to buy a cookie company and shut down its factory. When she starts falling in love with the factory’s owner, the town’s Christmas spirit over takes her.

Let It Snow – An ambitious executive gets a warm Christmas welcome to melt away her frosty attitude. (there is another, but this storyline provides a vital clue)

Four Christmas’s – When their plans for an exotic vacation fall apart, unmarried couple Brad and Kate must spend Christmas Day trudging around to a quartet of family get-togethers.

The Adult Christmas Film

The Night Before – As Isaac prepares to become a first-time father, the friends realize that their annual tradition is coming to a sad end. To make it as memorable as possible, they plan a night of debauchery and hilarity by searching for the Nutcracka Ball, the Holy Grail of Christmas parties in New York.

Bad Mum’s Christmas – Under-appreciated and overburdened moms Amy, Kiki and Carla rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas.

Office Christmas Party – When the CEO tries to close her hard-partying brother’s branch, he and his chief technical officer must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs.

The Holiday – Dumped and depressed, English rose Iris agrees to swap homes with similarly unlucky in love Californian Amanda for a much-needed break.

The Questionable Christmas Film

Die Hard – New York City policeman John McClane is visiting his estranged wife and two daughters on Christmas Eve. The festivities are interrupted by a group of terrorists who take over the exclusive high-rise, and everyone in it.

Love Actually – Nine intertwined stories examine the complexities of the one emotion that connects us all: love.

Bridget Jones – At the start of the New Year, 32-year-old Bridget decides it’s time to take control of her life — and start keeping a diary.
