Tonbridge Pride

Tonbridge Pride

Last year, Tonbridge saw its very first Pride parade, hosted by the fabulous Sofia Stardust and organised by Zoe Duerden. It was such a great success and we're delighted to see it return this year, and hopefully many more years to come! With our factory set in Goudhurst, Tonbridge Pride is our most local LGBTQIA+ event, and we really wanted to support it any way we could.

Funds are tight for small businesses at the best of times, but these last few years have made it even more so, meaning that sponsorship was sadly out of the question for us. Last year, we offered up a raffle prize to help them raise funds, but this year we were determined to do more!

That's why we've created our Rainbow Collection, the first in our new range of socially-minded collections to offer local charities and community groups a direct boost through our sales! Each collection will contain a selection of x6 Goupie flavours for £30. £5 of each collection sale will be donated monthly to our chosen partners to fund their amazing projects.

Tonbridge Pride came about through community spirit and is an amazing example of what can happen when individuals collaborate to in their local area. It is an event designed to give everyone a safe space to express themselves and their individuality whilst also coming together to celebrate their community. The organisers managed to nab Ru Paul's Drag Race star, Sofia Stardust, for their event and they'll be returning again this year!

"The first event was such a runaway success that we felt we just had to do it again." explains Zoe. "This year we are keeping things mostly the same, and totally FREE. We will march through the high street to the castle where the main stage and stalls will be. There will be a great variety of local food, drink, art, crafts and community stalls. Tonbridge Angels will be with us playing some football games on Cannon Lawn. And Sophia Stardust will be hosting our entertainment again. The big difference this year is that we have an almost totally new entertainment line up, with even more great local acts. We also have our own Pride stall where people can come and support us in different ways. You can buy some merchandise, enter our raffle or you can sign up to be a volunteer or sponsor next year."

Tonbridge Pride is a non-profit community event run and supported by businesses and members of the town and we really hope that we can contribute, even if it's just a little, to this awesome event with our Rainbow Collection! You can join in with all the Tonbridge Pride festivities on 6th August 2023 <3
