Who doesn’t love a good scone? They’re quintessentially British, and essential for any afternoon tea. Here’s our very own scone recipe to make at home.
Step 1. Measure the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into a bowl and make into breadcrumbs with your fingertips and the margarine.
Step 2. Combine the oat milk and vinegar together. Combine the wet and dry mix together into a dough.
Step 3. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface to around 2cm thick. Cut out scones with a 4cm diameter circular cutter and place onto baking trays.
Step 4. Brush the tops with oat milk and bake for 10-15mins at 200 oC, until very lightly golden on top.
Best served with jam and whipped cream!
