Knight's Budgens - Featured Retailer April 2018

This month's historic stockist is not only one we’re immensely proud of, but also one of the oldest supermarkets in the country...it’s no surprise that they can recognise a good product when they see one.

Starting out as a local grocer in 1872 the supermarket gradually expanded and managed to sustain a reputation for servicing the local communities in, and around, the South East with them now expanding to over 160 stores; varying from petrol forecourts to supermarkets.

The owners, husband and wife, David Knight and Lynette have been responsible for the store being crowned convenience retailer of the Year 2012 and the very prestigious title of Best Large Store. What makes Knight’s Budgens so special I hear you ask? Well…their dedication to customers and outstanding displays, along with their continued commitment to supporting local areas are what separates them from your conventional supermarket.

The exciting local marketing and community engagement initiatives programme is an example of how Knight's Budgens have established themselves within society and become an integral part of the community.

You’re likely to stumble across some fabulous cheeses, fresh produce and of course some devilishly moreish chocolates. The icing on the cake is that they’ll all be locally sourced from Kent. Boasting a store which stocks over 12,000 products it’s safe to say that you’ll certainly find everything you’re looking for, and much, much more!
