Repurpose Your Goupie Basket!

Our glorious chocolate pumpkins come packaged in our wooden baskets, cushioned with shred and wrapped in our compostable bags. But it would be a shame to just throw them out right? We fully believe in reusing our packaging as much as possible and that's why we've come up with a super fun way to repurpose your wooden baskets this Halloween!

All you need is:

  • A Pen or Pencil
  • A Stapler
  • A length of rope or fabric strip
  • Optional: a glue gun

Step 1

Cut your rope or fabric strip to the desired length. This could be long to fit over a shoulder, or short to carry like Little Bo Peep! You can measure it my holding each end against either side of your basket.

Step 2

Staple the first end of your rope to the inside of your basket. We did this twice to keep it secure. Then attach the other end to the opposite inside of the basket. Et voila you already have a trick or treat basket, now all you have to do is decorate it!

Step 3

Draw faces onto the two sides of your buckets, between the two ends of rope so that they're centred. You can use a felt tip pen to colour these in, or even pain the basket if you want to get extra creative!

Optional Step 4

Why not use your glue gun to attach the shred within your basket to the rim? That way you've made hair for your characters!
